GRADUATE STUDENT GRANTS

The Southeastern American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (SEASECS) strives to be a leader in welcoming graduate students to participate in our conference. To this end, we offer a limited number of graduate presentation stipends of up to $300 to support student research that will be presented at the annual conference. Any graduate student whose proposal has been accepted for presentation at the conference is eligible to apply. Grant awards are determined competitively and based on several factors, including:

  • the availability of other institutional or professional funding

  • disciplinary diversity within the conference program

Please note that funding amounts may vary depending on demonstrated need, the number of applications received, and other considerations.
